Pomarosa is a beautiful Latino coffee shop and kitchen that provides one with a modernized version of traditional recipes. For example they offer arepas, that goes beyond the usual Latino food that typically include meat and cheese. The little restaurant is cute and beautiful and it considers social distancing related to COVID-19, and it has laptop-friendly, so enjoy your meal as you browse the internet. Beyond amazing arepas, they also serve salads and other Latin American drinks; the beauty is that they are made on-site from scratch! The owners Vivian from Colombia and Luis Hernandez from Venezuela so they bring a wide variety great food from their countries. Pomarosa gives you the sense of a romantic, colourful cafe and shows a lot of love and care has been put into Pomarosa. Some goodies they offer are gluten-free arepas. I really enjoyed this dish that included the “Flores,” a vegetarian option with a hibiscus flower picadillo cooked with onion and tomato that manages to taste incredibly meaty. All arepas are made to order by hand. The Venezuelan horchata is made with sesame seeds, making it different, tastier and nuttier. I loved it! Parchita (passionfruit) juice is another favourite for me. They also serve a raw organic cane sugar lemonade, made in heaven!. As far as coffee is concerned, it is one of the best!!

Their hot chocolate was tasty... Specifically the marshmallows. A bit on the pricey side though.

Scones are to die for, be sure to get them fresh as well as a frozen batch to make your own at home. The horchata latte is just what everyone needs to put a little pep in their step. Can't wait to eat my way through the menu.

Great service and the absolute best hot chocolate I have ever had. The marshmallows were unlike any I have ever had before and the whipped cream was truly amazing. And the hot chocolate itself was great, too. We also had a couple cookies fresh feom the oven that were absolutely amazing.
