Six foot aisles are now the norm so there is no problem moving about the store to find what you need. We work hard to keep our shelves neat, tidy and full of inventory. Always bringing you the very latest from the hobby and craft industries. Here at PM Hobbycraft we have always taken pride in being able to be a fun place to shop for the whole family. Our location in Calgary Northeast is large enough to display everything from our huge crafts and cake decorating sections, to our quickly growing trains, radio controlled cars and airplanes sections. Kids of all ages (including kids at heart) can enjoy a multitude of products ranging from Telescopes, to rug hooking kits to Radio Control Monster Trucks. Grand Parents, Parents and Children have been coming here Ever since 1956. Family has always been what drives this business and like any healthy family we continue to grow. At the turn of the new millennium a name change was in order from the old PMS Hobby Craft to the more "politically correct" PM Hobbycraft. A decision not easily made considering the fact that the name had been with us for nearly half a century. Ownership has also changed and my wife, Debbie, and I are proud to say that a Pepperdine will continue at the helm for a long time to come. With over 12,000 square feet, the widest selection, and best service of any hobby and craft store in North America we have truly become an Icon in the industry. Our e-commerce site is growing daily, and we look forward to utilizing LinkedIn as yet another means for connecting with our customers.

Love this place been going there for years and years. Bought a new mini RC crawler truck yesterday and it did not work out of the box. Took it in today and they got me all sorted so quickly. Truck is running great now. Thanks PM hobbycraft staff

The staff at PM Hobbycraft are amazing. During a recent visit there I was politely offered assistance a couple of times but also left to browse on my own time (no pressure to buy!). At one point my 4 yr old son who had his mind set on something, that was outside his budget, became upset. At the cashier we were going to buy a small fidget toy for my other son. This was just a little promo type gift that had the PM Hobbycraft logo and name on it. The general manager (working the till) had seen my boy while he was upset and he generously offered us the small toy as a gift (one for each of my boys). While in the moment my son was not able to understand that kindness, I was so happy when only a short time later at home my boys were full of smiles and laughs playing with the fidget. It is rare that a company puts the idea of a positive experience above their need for a sale. It is very clear that the staff at PM Hobbycraft understand that a small gesture such as this goes so far in making me want to return and spend my money there. During my visit I saw many other employees helping customers and even overheard a discussion about special ordering something to meet the customers needs. We need more stores like PM Hobbycraft in Calgary! Please keep up the good work.

Awesome place and selection. Greeted when you enter and offered help along the way. Would have given it a 5 star but after purchasing 300 in model cars, they placed my treasures in a cheap, too small, bag that split almost immediately. Then told to carry from the bottom. Worth the trip but bring your own bag

This review is only about the modeling and paint section at the location. They carry a wide array of very niche products in store but seem to never have the basics in stock. I have only been into wargaming for just under a year now but I have only found black primer in stock here once of the many times i have come in. Whenever I ask one of the employees in this section, I am often told a \I hope it's in next week\. Supporting local has ways meant so much to me but the store needs to take its stock more seriously. Tons of paint racks shouldn't sit half empty for months and if they know it's going to take forever to get a specific product in that every painter will need (ex. black paint, black primer, gloss/matte varnish, etc.) It needs to be ordered in high enough numbers that the store won't run out between orders. Would love to give more money to this local business rather than online like I have needed to. If you have a very specific odd product you need, they may just have it though.
