it's a good thrift store for clothes that are currently in style. however, they aren't that much cheaper than anything you would find online. selling stuff with them is difficult too. you can try and sell, but you won't be selling for the price you're wanting to sell at. shopping here is nice, but if you wanna sell then your best bet is honestly depop.

A few cute items here and there for great price. A lot of the shoes I can't find a price for it. Not much accessories, socks or bags. Clothes are organized by sizes which is pretty neat. Will come back to trade some items in future.

Had such an awful experience, my sister and I went on a Friday to bring some clothes and they told us they couldn’t accept them because they were in bags so we came back today with our clothes in baskets and a reusable bag and asked us if we had sold at that shop and we both said no. No time frame of when to come back and when we were half way home and they didn’t take any of our clothes because they were not name brand clothes they didn’t tell us what they were looking for.... I’m sorry some of us are not rich and can’t afford name brand clothes. Yeah won’t be going back there and be prepared to have your clothes denied if they are not name brand

I used to go here very often, but they have officially lost my business, and here’s why: Due to the Covid pandemic, everything was moved online. I saw this amazing looking Champion sweatshirt and i jumped at the chance. When i purchased the order , i thought that would be it, and i anticipated the sweatshirt being available for pickup. unfortunately that wasn’t the case. i got a missed call a few days, and a e-mail to notify i will be getting a refund. i was so confused and i called the store. the woman sounded so condescending and she sounded like she didn’t care. she told me “we refunded you the money because we can’t find the sweatshirt anywhere.” they don’t even let anybody into the store. sweatshirts don’t have feet to walk. so the only logical explanation would be that one of the employees stole the sweater for themselves because i literally bought the shirt as soon as they posted it on instagram. there is no reason that they couldn’t find the sweatshirt. and it sounds like they don’t care. i’m so disappointed and ashamed and i suggest nobody should shop in there because it seems like it’s employees closet, not platos closet. absolutely unprofessional and garbage service.

I did not have a bad experience exactly, however their buying does not make a lot of sense to me. I brought in a good amount of brand new (tags still on) jeans from fashion nova, skirts from princess polly and various clothing from M boutique. I will also add that all of these items were bought this year and fit autumn weather/trends. However, none of these clothes were accepted? My out of date, used clothing from high school were accepted? I didn't stay in the store itself too long, I had quick glance while dropping my own clothing off but from what I could see, most of items in this store seem outdated or low quality. I looked back on their website, and it states they prefer brands like Aeropastel and Abercrombie, which I consider very outdated. Im not sure if this particular store caters to a more pre-teen demographic? walked out with 81 for 17 pieces of clothing, which isn't great but not bad considering what they took. However, I was expecting more as there was so many brand new clothes from popular retailers (not taken). Im not angry with this issue, just very confused. What did anger me a little bit was they told me it would take half an hour to look through the clothing, so I let the girl know I would stay in the area. It ended up taking 1 hour 30 mins. it appears from other reviews they tell everyone it will take 30 mins. I don't mind the longer wait time, but please be honest about the wait time, as I would have much rather waited at home. In conclusion, I would certainly recommend selling your clothes online, over Platos, if you have a little extra time. However, I will give them credit for being the only place (I know of) to buy used clothing!
