It has a main hall that is perfect for events. And I love it that the building was designed with energy efficiency in mind. They got rainwater collection system, passive ventilation and optimization of sunlight depending on the season.

My Husband and I got Married at South Bonson Community Centre on June 2nd. What a beautiful venue! It was a sunny day so we were able to use the dock on the river for the Ceremony. The Reception Hall is gorgeous and would suit any type of decor. It is very spacious and bright, and has a built in sound system and projector. The staff are very friendly and attentive and answered by emails promptly. We were able to view the venue as much as needed when it was not in use. There is no air conditioning, but they provided large industrial fans which helped a lot when it came time for dancing! I highly recommend South Bonson Community Centre!

Nice place, great facility! However the HVAC was not correct when I was there.

Great little community center. For one event the air conditioning didn't work and the fans were so noisy we couldn't hear the speaker. For another event they fixed the air con and it was super cold. Apart from the temperature this place is great.
