Susi at Bark Avenue is a wealth of knowledge on every product she carries and will go out of her way to educate her clientele. She is continually researching and educating herself on emerging products in the industry and if I can dream it up or have a specific need or question, Susi has an industry contact who she can reach out to and contact on my behalf. She is a trusted and valued resource in the care of my beloved goldens and has become a very dear friend over the years. We could talk and collaborate for hours on end over dog nutrition and health - it's absolutely her passion and she's fully committed to this industry with her heart and soul. I couldn't count how many friends I've sent her way who like me have become loyal clients and friends of Susi. She has a heart of gold and is the animal whisperer - every dog I've ever seen in her store has dragged its person through her door to see her including my own who all love her. Proud to support her local business and would be lost without her!

The owner, Susi, of Bark Avenue Holistic Pet Supply, is very friendly, pleasant and welcoming. I have 3 dogs who are very picky with their food and treats. Susi has helped me greatly with getting what my dogs want. Happy dogs, happy me! She has my loyalty from the first day I walked into her store. You can tell how much she cares about animals. She has a lot of knowledge with the many products she sells. Every month I would place an order and drive in from Chilliwack to her store in Pitt Meadows to pick up my orders. I would not go anywhere else, since the day I discovered Bark Avenue Holistic Pet Supply. This place has a good selection of food, treats & toys. I was very surprised with the many choices this store offers. I highly recommend Bark Avenue Holistic Pet Supply to anyone in a heartbeat. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

I just wanted to add to my original post - I’ve noticed recently some unusual very negative ratings without actual details noted from “customers”. I would like to caution anyone making false ratings themselves or on behalf of others to please be aware that negatively affecting a business and someone’s reputation is actionable. Susi has been a staple in the community providing personal and professional service to pet owners for many years. To see her 5 star rating drop is surprising and doesn’t seem an accurate reflection on herself or her business. Reviews are not a platform for personal vendettas. I have shopped with business owner Susi for over 12 years. She has helped me with a variety of nutritional needs across three dogs in that time. I have experienced nothing but the highest service standards, product knowledge and food recommendations - she’s made it easy to refer friends! As a member of the pet industry in the past year I also acknowledge the stores focus on optimal nutrition and carrying a broad range of the top brands. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Susi if you need help with your pets nutrition - she is friendly, welcoming and will work with you to find the right fit. Great store with excellent service. Not only is this small business owner knowledgeable about the products she carries, she is passionate about pets she caters too. The products she has chosen to carry in her store were done so with care for the pets of her customers. She is always friendly and helpful and I have always loved that she stands behind her products. It's nice to have a local business to support and not just another big box chain that really doesn't have time for the concerns or well being of it's customers.
