This is the worst branch that i have ever experienced. The manager was so bad and rude. I could never trust them and there service was so bad. They couldnt even help me with my problems. Instead of helping me thay creat more problems. I highly suggest not going to this bank. It is horrible.
Unprofessional and hostile assistant manager who was hugely lacking in customer service abilities. Assistant manager also did not know the banks own policy; they esolved\ an issue but failed to tell me that if they esolved\ the issue at the branch, then I couldn't escalate the issue further (which I found out after calling a customer service rep). Instead the assistant manager gave me the customer service pamphlet telling me that I could escalate the issue. I also got one story from this assistant manager and a second story from the customer service rep I spoke to over the phone. Based on the conversation with the customer service rep, I don't believe this assistant manager knew what they were talking about. The customer service rep on the phone was far more helpful (and professional) and they were able to assist me with my issue to my satisfaction. The person I spoke to before the assistant manager joined the meeting was helpful and polite, but that didn't make up for their assistant managers attitude. Issued me a new access card but failed to give me the temporary password so that I could see my own account online. Also lacking in health and safety. Many sanitizer dispensers were \out of order\, employees weren't properly wearing masks, and there was a lack of partitions. The working sanitizer dispenser did not dispense enough sanitizer to clean your hands. Dismissive, unprossfesional, and unsafe are words I would use to describe this branch.
I have to absolutely give 0 stars to this TD Bank. The branch employees were extremely rude and dismissive. We came in with relevant pieces of ID and information to confirm our bank account opening. We were wrongly told this was not enough. In fact, when we looked online through TD's own policies and regulations, we found out that we were 100% correct and the TD employees here were wrong. We had more than enough pieces of ID and we also had secondary pieces of ID that were acceptable according to TD's policies. We also 100% did all of these steps already online through their \verified app\ in order to prevent the need to do this and go into a branch office during the covid pandemic. Instead of being understanding and helpful, or even listen to our concerns, they just told us to leave and said \Of course you need this X ID\ even though they were wrong and according to TD's own policies we didn't. It is very clear that the staff need to be trained better and more appropriately with TD's own policies. The building looks nice and new, it is too bad the staff are terrible. 0/10 experience would not recommend.
I have dealt primarily with this bank since 1986 I believe. I do go to other branches on occasion but consider this to be my home bank. I have had excellent service from this branch and even though I no longer live in Pickering, I often return here if I have particular needs. I am always assured of the best advice and help.
