I live out west, however decided to drive down east to drop off groceries to a family member out in Pickering. Stopped by at this Shoeless Joes location, which was on my way and was very satisfied! I ordered the Tennessee style fried chicken with lattice fries and it was the best choice! The deep fried chicken was cooked perfectly and it made my day. When I went to pick up my order, the restaurant followed all safety protocols to ensure guests feel comfortable at the time of pick up. Highly Recommend! Now that Durham is in red zone, I'm going to drop by for a pint!

Went in the Pickering Shoeless Joe's for the first time on January 03, 2021, for their curbside take-out. I was greeted by a pleasant young lady and she gave me the take-out menu and I asked her for some recommendations on the menu and very professionally, she gave me her opinion on what to choose and with that I placed my order for the Chorizo and Sweet Pear flate bread and a beet salad. About a minute or so, she came back and explained that they were out of pears and offered another substitute at no additional charge. I refused because my mind was sold on the sweet and savory option. I got my order and started to eat in my car and let me say this \ IT WAS THE BEST FLAT BREAD PIZZA I'VE EVER TASTED \. I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager because I wanted to complement the chef on a job well done with my meal; and to my surprise the lady who took my order was the manager. I was even more impressed because she was so helpful and patient and very professional. I must say \most restaurant managers usually have a chip on their shoulders and sometimes flat out rude\. I will definitely be going back soon.
Great food!! It's my go to spot for takeout every week. Can't wait for the lockdown to end so I can finally go back to being able to dine in and have a fresh pint!!
The food and service was amazing. Love the upscale look of this location. Will definitely be coming back here!!!
