I brought my 3 year old in here because of all the beautiful colours. She wanted to see what this store was and the moment we walked in... She was loving the scents and beautiful displays! Their selection of bath bombs, face washes and other natural products is vast! Shandell then asked if we’d like to drop a bath bomb into a bowl of water. The moment it hit the water, my three-year-old was captivated! She played with the bath bomb until her hands were pink! Shandell really knew how to connect with the customer and make everyone feel welcome! We didn’t end up buying anything, but... I did learn a lot about what they offer and I will be back to buy some stuff for my wife and oldest daughter!!! THANKS SHANDELL!!!
I was always overwhelmed by the smell in this store so I've shopped here very little over the years. However, queue 2020 and needing to wear a mask...I was able to spend 15 minutes in the store with the awesomely helpful staff selecting bathbombs for myself and my son and a couple other treats. Very happy with the quality and results of all the things I bought....except for the shower bomb. A lush bar of soap is better.
At every other Lush I've visited, I've always have a great and very positive experience. I left this location feeling upset as well as offended. The manager is not genuine whatsoever. I agree with the other review who stated that she is very passive aggressive! It seemed as if through her "complements" she was actually throwing various jabs at me. It made me feel quite uncomfortable at times. This is unacceptable for Lush! The employees at Lush are part of the whole experience-- the products are wonderful yes, but having positive interactions with the associates matters too.

I’m very new to Lush products and was introduced by a friend while shopping at the Queen St location— the staff was really friendly there! I was really excited to try some samples from the Pickering location after purchasing a few other products last week— and loved them! I was happy with the customer service until the manager asked me to be “honest” with her— I thought I was being honest with her with regards to asking for a sample for my mom. She did provide samples to me last week which now I feel really bad for asking. While she was trying to be friendly, she commented that she “saw through my compliments” when I thanked her for the sample today. I was being honest to her the whole time when I was asking for samples for friends or my mom. After that interaction with the manager I don’t feel comfortable coming back to this location.
As a new customer to Lush, I was first introduced by a friend at the Queen St. location. I was really excited to buy my first lush products. I came into the Pickering location last week, and spoke directly to the manager, and asked to try some samples while also buying products (spent over 60). I was excited to spread the word among more friends and family, and asked for samples for friends— which other locations apparently have not given any issues over. When I came back today, I was referred to as the “sample girl” (however I did purchase products— I would feel guilty asking for samples if I have not purchased anything from before). I could sense the manager was reluctant to provide samples, which looking back I feel bad for even asking. The manager asked me to be “honest” with her (which I felt I was, by asking for samples for my mom)— I honestly did just want to introduce my friends and family to it, and had provided them with samples last week. When I thanked her and paid a compliment, she told me “I see through your compliments”— and was very passive aggressive. I understand there might be customers who ask for samples and don’t pay for products but I spent over 60 last week. The products are great, and I’m sure this is a huge misunderstanding but I do not feel comfortable coming back to the Pickering location.
