I can not tell you how appreciative I am for the well rounded education my child received at Blaisdale Montessori School. The staff are some of the most caring and concerned educators I have met, and the range of education is great. I did my research and it is by far the best school in the area. Plus, the facilities at this school are excellent. They have a full size gym and several different playgrounds for the various age groups. Blaisdale is in a safe residential area. Also, knowing my children were safe when I left them gave me invaluable peace of mind. The Principal was trained by Mrs. Montessori and her dedication to the children was very evident. The support staff were always very attentive and understanding in all areas. When speaking to the older elementary school students, you really saw the maturity level.

My daughter attended this Montessori from grades 1-8. Her best friends and school memories are from these formative years. The staff is great and the grounds are large and nestled in a safe upper class neighborhood.

My son attended the Whitby campus (now closed) for 3 months. While the daycare workers were wonderful, the head office staff were another story. I received multiple emails and letters from their accounting department stating I owed them money for unpaid fees. I provided them with copies of all the cheques they'd cashed, and that my account was up to date and paid; suddenly the amount I 'owed' went from 1200 to 600. I asked them to break down the remaining balance to show exactly what they were charging me for. They never provided me with this document. When I called back to enquire about it once more, the amount changed AGAIN to 300. Since they could provide no reasoning for the changes or the charges themselves, I stated I had no intention of paying. They said they would send my account to collections and that I'd be hearing from them soon...that was almost 2 years ago. What a joke. I can't imagine the stress this type of situation would create for someone whose child was still in their care. Luckily I had transferred my son out just before this happened. If you send your child to Blaisdale, make sure you keep detailed records of all payments and the calendar of fees they charge each year.
