Great store, lots of great selection, and the prices are amazing. I highly recommend you check out the clearance section because there is some hidden gems for a steal of a price there. I’ve been going to Phoenix comics for years and I have always felt at home there. The staff is quiet and can seem cold but they are good people once you spend enough time around them. I think the beauty of this store is that it doesn’t feel like some big chain store. Its not a place that you just walk into, do some quick shopping, check out, and leave without a thought. For me at least, this place is a place you can stand in the aisles for an hour investigating what feels like every collected edition made, maybe meet some new people and share your opinions, and check out a vast collection of reasonably priced but amazing collectable figures and sculptures. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to find a store they go to regularly.

I’ve been coming here for over thirty years. The store has expanded several times over the years and with each expansion, it gets even better. It’s been owned by the same owner for probably four decades. The selection is wonderful and the prices are fair. Highly recommended!
Sadly they don't sell weekly issues like ALL comic stores use to. That being said they have a great collections so eh 4/5 if you like manga. I cant justify this place over buying digital unless you really want the physical.

So far my fav comic book store in Calgary. It's smaller but has a lot of varied comics not just mainstream ones. Most of the comics here are in book format which seemed a bit odd but they have a new section of typical comics. This store has a great anime collection! Parking can be a bit tricky but there is street parking in the neighbouring streets.
