This place offers good value for your money. But don’t expect a literal 5 star meal. The restaurant looks quite fancy, the plating is nice, the food tastes great, and the mains are pretty much priced around 15. You get what you pay for! My boyfriend really enjoyed this place. We especially liked the smoked duck breast pasta. It was the perfect consistency and was tasty. hope to return!

I always want to try the new Yonge Empress Walk location because it offers more variety than the Leslie and Finch location. Upon arrival, I immediately notice the decoration is modern and fancy. A party of 2 of us has a window seats table and a nice view out of Yonge street from the second floor. We ordered a beef omurice, a seafood ramen and a matcha souffle pancake. The beef omurice is the best of the night, the black pepper sauce is favorable, a only downside is the beef is a bit overcook. The seafood ramen is full of seafood on top of the ramen, way more seafood than other Japanese traditional ramen spot. Finally, the dessert is the biggest disappointment, we really like the souffle pancake at the Leslie location, but Yonge location is not good at all. There is only a little bit of matcha powder on top which we cannot even taste the matcha flavor. The pancake itself has no egg flavor as well. Overall the pancake is way worst than Leslie location or Cafe Bon Bon in Richmond Hill. Even though the dessert is not enjoyable this time, but we agreed to come back to have the omurice and some other desserts.

Came here for some late night food and desserts. The interior is definitely nicer than their other locations. Their bingsu is delicious and adorable. Would try their fluffy Japanese souffle pancake. Food: 10/10 Interior: 10/10 Service: 6/10

The location and decor are awesome! Love the charging outlets at every table and the purse hooks under each table - those sweet details count. However the fettuccini with black pepper sauce was a huge flop... it lacked salt, flavour.. texture of noodles seemed off, and it was too oily. The desserts look very cool although we haven’t tried them. Will be willing to come again and try something else, but my advice - skip the pasta... oh, and there are absolutely no potatoes on the menu

The atmosphere of the restaurant, the food, and even the utensils all are nice quality. However, the service was very poor. Four of us ordered on the same piece of paper at the same time. After waiting a while, our male server brought out my three friends’ dishes but not mine. At frist we thought that my dish would just take a little longer. But after about 15 minutes of waiting, we waved him over since he had not checked up on us again (even though he walked past us a few times). We asked about the missing dish and were shocked to find that he completely forgot it or failed to place it and had to tell the kitchen to make it on the spot. He offered a meager apology. When the plate came out, although it was on an iron skillet it wasn’t sizzling or even as hot as another dish we ordered that was also served on the same kind of skillet. Very disappointing. I hope you don't lose more costumers due to poor service but I won’t be visiting again.

Petit Potato finally opens a second location! Amazing interior design, looks like a retro future Asian diner. Same great Taiwanese, Japanese and Korean cuisine (with some new additions, worth trying). They also have an attached petite specialty cake shop, definitely try one for dessert. Overall great start, if they can keep the food quality up and keep it consistent like the other location this could be my new go-to favourite (sorry Finch&Leslie).

I am thrilled that they finally opened a second location as it is closer to my home and the library. I have already went there many times and so far the meals, drinks and desserts I've tasted were very delicious and savoury. The interior and design of the place is also very nice and aesthetic, including their menu and food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall, great place. Would higly recommend.
