I visited Peters Food Shop to buy a boneless prime rib roast for the New Year's Dinner, the shop was closed due to lockdown. I called the number indicated on google and he promised to be there in 15 minutes but was actually there earlier than that. I was actually going to buy more than I needed since I was following a recipe. He advised me on the right quantities (saved money), the right temperature to cook it and the ready temperature for a medium-rare. He also gave us a Red wine sauce to serve with the roast. He was very friendly and helpful. I prepared the roast and it was the best roast we have ever heard and we finished the sauce before the meat. The sauce is to die for . Thank you very much Peter, you made everything easy and enjoyed a scrumptious meal. You made us happy in the new year despite all that is happening. I will for sure visit you again for any special meat cuts.

It's been a long time since i've ordered from Peter's food shop; for no particular reason. With the current situation as a family we are needing a better variety of food for the and i decided to order from Peter as per a referral from my neighbour. I ordered several items online. Shortly afterwards I recieved a call from Peter himself clarifying the order and arranging a free drop off at our home! Super convenient and helpful experience. Peter gave me some direction with my selections as well. I decided to smoke a brisket for the first time. Wow. What a great piece of brisket! I've honestly never seen anything like it! It turned out amazing!!! Super juicy and tasty. I had enough to feed 3 families plus generous leftovers for all of us!! Happy I could support a local merchant and enjoy several wonderful meals over the next few weeks. Thanks Peter!!
We came to this restaurant for dinner. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we felt fantastic. The meal was fresh and delicious. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. We recommend this place to all.
Having just returned from the cottage for a special family weekend celebration before those little ones return to school, both Peter and Phil helped me quickly put together an effortless, stress free menu, so that we could have some quality family time. The beef tenderloin was superb, as was the juicy Mennonite chicken! The scalloped potatoes and root veggies were a great addition, and did not last long!
