Rude staff, most of them make you constantly feel unwelcome as if they are doing you a favour, they have very poor social skills and common sense, more like sensless programmed robots, nurses are always not in the mood , probably thinking about her personal problems and your visit is annoying and disturbing . Expect to meet staff that will make you feel worse than you already feel because they are sad people that seem like they hate their life or job. The person responsible of this staff should be tied up and left without food or water for hours to regain the sense of how people should be treated.

On January 21, 2020 I went to emergency at 5 a.m. with severe stomach and back pain, which ended up being diagnosed after a few hours in triage and after an ultrasound, to be a kidney stone. All staff during my time in triage including admin, nurses, technicians, porters, cleaning staff, doctors, assistants and many others were quick, efficient, kind, considerate, friendly, compassionate and professional. At no time did I feel ignored. Triage is a busy place, so I understand the waiting times. A shout out to Doctor Morris and staff that morning. Thanks and God bless. You rock!

I don't understand why with a big cut in the hand we are waiting 3 hours to see a doctor. Unfortunately nobody cares about helping people in this place. Alberta Health Services is the worst in Canada.

took my nephew to the hospital on Thursday night as I'm trying to explain to the aid nurse behind the triage what's going on she kept telling me to be quiet because I look 16, I took my nephew's mother who is clearly on medication and would not shut up. The triage nurse kept turning to her and taking her information, but you can clearly tell that she has no information relevant to my nephew, as I'm telling my nephew deep breath in and out this triage nurse goes off again... "Shut up!" So I start to explain the situation of my nephew and how I am worried. As my sister made no sense and this idiot nurse would purposely didn't listen she wrote family Dynamics is off and they released him. Yah no family is perfect but maybe do the job your paid for and listen! Obviously she needs a new profession.

The worse care provided that you can think of. I went to ER twice in so much pain and both of the times the doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I had chest pains and irregular heart beat and I told them how the pain had been just getting worse, but neither did doctors nor nurses take it seriously. They didn’t even refer another doctor or medicine. The second time I went In, after waiting for 5 hours, after they did a blood test, did an ECG and xrays of my chest, doctor called me in and told me he didn’t what was wrong with me. He just shook his head and smiled at me, while I stood there telling him how much pain I was in. Told me to go home and take Tylenol for my pain, which did not work at all. The nurses are just beyond rude. They have no compassion for the patients in pain, they make fun of patients and laugh at them instead of helping them.

The night time emergency doctors and nurses are great and very helpful. The daytime doctors and nurses are rude and careless.
