Very happy with Perfection Paving. From the initial visit with Don (estimator) who was super polite and gave me a great price. I compared the 3 larger companies in Fredericton and Perfection had the best price (this may not always happen but in my case they were the best). I made sure that all 3 companies knew exactly what I was looking for - so they were all playing with the same cards. The paving Crew and the Driveway Prep Crew were all awesome! They did a very clean job around the foundation, garden shed and a few other spots. They even added some extra pavement at the entrance in the direction that we leave the yard. Overall, I would highly recco them.

A perfect job done today by Perfection Paving. I was exceptionally pleased with the entire job. On all aspects, they were accommodating with great advice. Here are some of the before and after photos of this complex driveway. Great Job!!
Almost perfection. Will be a 5-star rating once the small issue mentioned at the end of my review is resolved. We ended up with a beautiful driveway. Previously we had a nasty, heaved driveway sitting atop several feet of wet clay. They dug down deep enough to remove the clay, and back-filled it with multiple layers of crushed rock to provide a very solid foundation. When I thought the base was still a little soft in one spot, they stayed late to dig it up and go even deeper, removed more clay, then back-filled it again, only charging me for the extra material (not the duplicated labour). They didn't rush to get the asphalt down, and we let the new base settle for several weeks, with them coming back part-way through to re-roll to ensure it was solid. By the time they paved, we were all comfortable that the base was settled. The paving crew was excellent, laying down a beautiful driveway in a few hours. They brought it right up against my foundation like I asked, worked around a couple of small garden patches, and made a smooth transition against a garage that has some big cracks in the floor. On paving day, they went the extra mile by bringing in extra guys to move my steps & landing out of the way so they could pave under it, then again to put them back the next day. We do have a small issue where water pools against the city sidewalk, which caused additional heaving and drainage issues over the winter. However, Perfection is working with me to make sure this gets resolved this summer. (In their defense, the city sidewalk is heaved higher than it should be, which made it a bit harder for Perfection to get just the right grade in that spot.) Once the city fixes the sidewalk, Perfection will come back and rework that spot to ensure correct drainage happens. And if the city doesn't act, Perfection will still come back and attempt to repair the grade and blend it in. So they're working with us. Once this is all resolved, this will be a 5-star review.
They have messed up our driveway twice now, they refuse to resolve the issue & have stopped all communication with us.
Easy to deal with, great price, would recommend.
