They are rude with temporary Associates and utilise them like slaves. Some of the supervisors breaks all lean warehousing rules which are posted on there q board at Inbound. Who's aim is showing off the productivity by over offloading at each shift, keeping all offset products for next to decrease there productivity. Union heads are so rude with new recruits and hierarchy is politically corrupted, but few are exceptional.

Very rude and condescending
Shady warehouse. The supervisor and people in charge are biased towards people they like and will give them the better job. At one point they will switch you to the worse jobs in the warehouse if you arent liked.
Worked at HBC Logistics for 1 holiday season with People Store (Scarborough location) without any issues. When I emailed them asking about the second season, I was contacted and given an orientation date. Then I was phoned and told that I had not been cleared to return to work by AP security. Then I was phoned back and told there had been an issue with my photo ID. They told me to come in and take a new photo, which I did. When I came for the ID I saw the place is being run like an airport!!! Security, metal detectors you walk through, excessive bag checking. INCONVENIENT!!! You have to take off your shoes each time you enter and exit! Then I actually showed up for my orientation, was given a new photo ID and was in the process of finishing my orientation when I was pulled out by a People Store Rep and told once again... that AP security had not cleared me to be on the floor for a second time! NONSENSE!!! They gave me no actual reason! They had not justified why my work there had been terminated! Just like that! TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!! I would say after being a really hard and loyal worker and returning to do a good job once again, they would maybe, appreciate it! Considering the amount of wages they are making off of the slavery they put us workers through! I can't believe a company could be this terrible! I advise any serious workers looking for a career at HBC Logistics to be aware and check their options. There are many good companies and agencies located in Scarborough that dont play games and screw around with your time. Better off finding them instead.
They don’t deserve even one star They haired so many people by saying it's a full-time job but when you start working they give less than 14 hours per week and it's their choice some time they tell you to start 11 am to 7:30 pm but when you go they send you back home by 2:00 pm it's all basically they are just using people they haired when they are so busy but after gettingg slow they kick them out
