Post office staff need a serious attitude check. Being friendly goes a long way. They all know their job fairly well to be fair to them but a smile and a bit of friendliness would be a welcome change.

I have been a customer for over 20 years and have enjoyed interacting with the staff over the years. More recently in the past few months i have noticed a change in staff attitude towards customers. Less kind less supportive less caring. Earlier today i went in to pick up a prescription i had called in. I patiently waited in line for over15 minutes while the cashier made calls on behalf of the person in front on me, helped them sort through paperwork and reviewed the meds in the bliss pac with them. Seemed very helpful. Then i was my turn... i was really taken aback how i was treated... waited at least another 6 minutes while she looked for some papers.. then finally came to the counter with my prescription. I so had 3 additional items to purchase. After waiting so very long to pay fkr my prescription i was told i could only pay for the prescription and not pay for the 3 items at the pharmacy counter but had to take them to the front. I had to line up for a second time for another 10 minutes at the front to purchase the other 3 items. Terrible way to treat an elderly long time customer.
