I was very happy to find Dr. Goncalves after being told by another gynecologist that there was basically nothing that could be done to repair my pelvic organ relapse other than trying expensive lazer surgery that doesn't have a very high success rate and wasn't covered by my medical insurance. I was so relieved to hear from Dr. Goncalves that he could indeed repair my organs. He also made me aware that, as with any surgery, there can be risks but he felt I was a good candidate for the surgery he recommended. The surgery went very well and his follow up care was outstanding. I highly recommend him as a surgeon as he explained my procedure thoroughly and he stays very current with his knowledge. I also would like to say that his office staff, Annelien, is such a lovely person, kind and so friendly! If you need a gynecologist, Dr. Goncalves is the one to go to!

I was referred to this doctor over 5 years ago for a different procedure. Thank you to my friend for that. Had to have a full hysterectomy about 6 weeks ago and he went out of his way for me so I'd didn't have to many stitches. I am so happy and appreciative that he took the challenge. Thank you so much!! I would refer anyone to this doctor. And his office and receptionist is awesome..

Dr Goncalves and his office team were professional and efficient in booking and conducting appointments when consulting for treatment and ultimately, surgery. The Dr stopped in while I was in the hospital. His coaching and advice were perfect and factual. I was able to recover more quickly because of the care I received from the doctor, the office team and the entire hospital experience. Empathetic and patient they all helped me understand what the surgery was about, how best to prepare and how best to recover. Thank you all!!
