Wow, we had an AMAZING time with Whitecap. My brother and I just got back from a summer trip, and it was an extremely unique, comfortable, and fun experience. The hiking was incredible, the guides (Leah and Hayden) were extremely knowledgable, helpful, and skilled. The lodge itself is super cozy. The sleeping areas are super comfortable. The food was incredible, thanks to the talented chef Amy. If you're on the fence about going on a trip with Whitecap, don't be! I am so glad I did. Oh, and the cherry on the cake - the lakeside sauna. What a unique experience! Thanks so much!

One of the most beautiful getaways in BC. The lodge is tucked away in a stunning valley just north of Pemberton. We spent a few days here exploring the mountains and relaxing in their private sauna. The Sauna was a major highlight and I would go back for that aspect alone. The food was amazing, and the cozy cabin atmosphere was perfect. I'll definitely be returning!

My family and I have just returned from our first visit to Whitecap Alpine. We stayed from August 11 - 14 and had the entire lodge to ourselves. I cannot adequately express what a meaningful, memorable, and wholesome experience we had. It truly exceeded my highest expectations in allowing our family to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of MacGillvray Pass, and to reconnect with each other and nature. The process of booking our adventure and planning for our time away was handled with thoughtful attention to every detail by Leah. Upon arrival, she and Hayden made our family feel welcome, relaxed and cared for. Not only that, we got to enjoy the spectacular scenery and put our legs to the test with some epic mountain hiking. They customized our daily plan with Hayden taking on the 4 Humphrey kids for their own daily alpine adventures (meeting up at the sauna and alpine lake) while Leah led the adults on some more challenging and spectacular terrain. Honestly, I couldn’t have planned a better hiking or family agenda. My complements would not be complete without acknowledging the spectacular food prepared lovingly by Rosie Mae Laird. Honestly, the food was so delicious it hardly seemed like it could be healthy (but it was)! Leah’s expert guiding and clear passion for the local environment was inspiring. We absolutely loved our time with her and Hayden. I wanted to make sure that Leah, Hayden and Rosie are all acknowledged for their exceptional commitment and passion for their work. We loved it so much I’ve already requested booking dates for next year - only longer. Thanks for giving us this great opportunity. Whitecap Alpine will now be a cherished Humphrey family tradition!

One of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. The simple, rustic charm of the yurts and homey-ness of the main cabin make for a real camping experience, while guided tours from knowledgable staff helped us to learn about the surrounding vegetation and wildlife. I especially loved the alpine lake sauna, which was just a short hike from the base camp. You’ll wish you could stay secluded in the mountains forever.

I stayed with Whitecap Alpine last winter at McGillivray Pass lodge for 4 days of ski touring. The terrain was exceptional - there was a great variety of intermediate to advanced ski touring options, snow quality was great, the operations and guiding teams were amazing and the food was delicious. Can't wait for the next trip!
