The trails have been pretty much destroyed due to rising lake levels. If you are looking for an easy walk through the forest this is not the place for you. If you are outdoorsy, have long pants on and bug spray proceed. There is only on trail option as the beach trail is under water. When you get to the big red flag turn right and follow the little flags on the forest floor.

A great place for a short but scenic hike. The trail brings you through a forest that borders on breathtaking marshlands, & finally out onto the beach. The point is beautiful!! Beach is sandy for lounging, but rocky shores so bring water shoes if you plan to swim.

A nice beach for a picnic if the flies aren't biting, very few people use it, coarse sand/ smooth rock bottom, wear water shoes if you have sensitive feet. The water depth drops off quickly from shore making it easy to anchor your boat very close to shore.

This place was my favourite part of the island. Obviously it has the prettiest view and the water from different ends meeting but the route to reach here was super interesting as well(adventurous and fun) . Don’t carry stroller wen travelling with baby .. the route is via forest and trees and some parts of sand .. so .. .. but loved it.. don’t miss out on this one
