Very sad they are closing and not opening shop again. Please reconsider. Like the last reviewer, I recently moved back from this area and started shopping again at this TSE. I have shopped there for years - when I was a boy and when it was CO-OP over 40 years ago. A character store, and a part of Barrie's history will be missed very much. Awesome staff - sorry to see this place shut down for good.

Went to TSC a couple weeks ago to discover that they are going to be closing this location. I had just recently moved back to Barrie after 20 years away and was somewhat disappointed to learn about this. They were still helpful though, although they no longer had any of the items I was there to purchase... apparently, a lot of their inventory is not being restocked, and great masses of the remaining stock are being shipped to other stores. Sad to see another casualty of Covid...
Not good experience. They realized too late that they didn't have the item we wanted... After they made my husband go outside to meet staff at the back door. The staff were VERY concerned with conveying that the location is closing.
This is a great store... So friendly and helpful. A great part of our community.

Even though I had been a loyal customer at the Barrie store since the mid-eighties, I am so disappointed by how I was treated in January 2020 and by their policy on return/exchange, I will NEVER enter the place again. Once one of my favourite stores for everything from appliances to pet supplies to workwear, I’m finished and am telling my scores of friends to stay away also!
I am so amazed at the customer service I received here yesterday! I work in the city and bring my dogs to work with me one of them being a new BIG rescue boy. I needed chicken feed badly and wanted to stop on my way home which is north of Barrie. Of course can't leave the dogs in the car with this heat. The staff were amazing, very kind to my needs, they pretty much did my shopping for me and loaded my car! I was so amazed by the hospitality these employees provide, keep it up you make your customer so very happy! Now only if I could remember the names, lol Great Job!
