Good selection of products, but the store can get a bit crowded (for pandemic times). The selection and store layout is very good. I like shopping there a lot more than at T&T
Update Feb 6th 2021: This time I decided to get the Korean Dessert from the guy at the stall near the cashier area. BUNGEOPPANG (KOREAN FISH SHAPED PASTRY) cakes are so delicious. I got the red bean and the custard versions. Be warned, they are highly addictive !!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My wife and I have been coming here for years before their renovations began. I prefer this Korean market over the Galleria Supermarket on the other side of Dundas in Oakville. The prices are in line with other Asian markets and the help from the cashiers and staff have been excellent over the years. I do miss the young gentleman who used to run the Sushi place inside the market before the renovation. Unfortunately he never did return after the renovation / makeover. The prepared foods are good and it is better than I expected from a supermarket scene really. A experience all the time.
Great place if you enjoy authentic Asian cuisine. Whether you like to cook it yourself or try a new restaurant style. They have a great selection and variety or Asian products that are great for cooking and hard to find anywhere else. Especially their Korean snack options. I also tried their available hot food table. They have so many soup and noodle options, and everything smells so amazing. I got the spicy noodles and they were fantastic! I also spoke with the lady who worked at the counter for a bit and she was very nice and helpful. Will definitely be coming back to shop again soon!
Great spot to pick up your Korean needs. A little crowded with regards to their produce section. Was able to find everything I needed for my random Korean recipes I found online. Has a few food stalls inside. Great place for a snack. There's a stall that sells Korean corn dogs and they are freshly made when you order!
