Bearly Used Books is an instant FIVE STAR destination every time on every level for me. I love the selection, presentation, PROFESSIONALISM, enthusiasm, courtesy, cleanliness, APPEAL, layout, design, variety, and -- dare I say it? Bottom line? -- ***PRICES!!!*** And their readiness to knock themselves out to find that obscure title you remembered from your grandmother's attic fifty years ago. This is a one-of-a-kind store, folks, and in all the years I've been coming to Parry Sound, it has only gotten better.

Bearly Used Books is a phenomenal place to spend an afternoon - definitely worth the drive from Huntsville area. The new location allows for space to browse and read, which is especially great on rainy days. We love the warm and welcoming staff members!
An amazing huge used bookstore. It's more like a library than a bookstore. Wide variety of fiction and non-fiction for children, young adults and adults. Very friendly and helpful staff. As of February 3 2021 they are open for curbside pick-up. They will also take your gently used books for donation, trade or possibly cash. And they will order new books for you. Best used book store for miles around.
Bearly Used Books is a great place to purchase books and I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys reading. The owner is a very special lady with a wealth of knowledge. I needed some books during COVID and she worked hard to get them delivered in a few days. We have been buying books off of her for years and will continue to be a loyal customer.
Better than Chapters! Books new and old and in between. We have been going here for a few years and watched it grow from one room to the whole building. Staff are fantastic, knowledgable and happy to help. If you only go that far north once in a while, it is fantastic to browse, or best to be prepared with a list! Either way, set aside at least an hour to enjoy. If you are after a popular new release, call ahead and get your name on a wait list. I come back with a bagful every time!
