It gets five stars because the owners are so nice. Checking in was easy. They had a bbq for us to rent, I forgot one. We needed firewood and they dropped some off. We asked to have some chairs taken out of our cabin ( 2yo was climbing on them) and they came by promptly. I like renting from people that care about their customers. It’s very clear they care.

Very nice family resort. I would suggest, though, to have some flyers or similar with information about the area, wifi code, kayak rentals, etc. Since it was not clear areas where dogs were allowed, or when or how to rent kayaks, etc. Dog beach is a small beach that was always full of canoes/kayaks so there wasn't really much space for them. Overall, very nice resort and friendly people. We will absolutely be coming back.
We spent a week in cabin 10 with our grandsons. The lake is quiet, the beach is nice and the owners very friendly and accommodating. The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake and a short walk to the beach. It's obvious the cabin needs a makeover. Although the bedrooms were fine, the kitchen is in need of a stove amongst other things. There was a 2 burner with only one burner working. The floor is old and could use refinishing. I found the cabin old and dated and as a result not very clean. Curtains were ancient and one of our benches was coming apart. That said I think the owners may be updating the cabins one at a time. We still had a wonderful time with our family.
Very nice people. Smaller park but very enjoyable...I would of scored the 5 however the only issue is that road into the sites need some work. Will definitely be back
Great family camp ground! Beach is very good and clean, also has a water trampoline.
Loved everything about it. My question is about the cliffs across from the site..Has anyone jumped off the tall one? I'm curious of the height.. I jumped off incorrectly and broke a rib... other wise... I'll be back:)
It's a quiet park and the lake isnt bad but the owner came up to me and my family of 12 and told us in a very rude tone that it was now "quiet time" he came speeding into our campsite and started being rude to us. I found that very unprofessional and they have a serious raccoon problem. One night my brother in law and his gf were sleeping in the tent right next to ours and I was woken up by her screaming because a raccoon was attacking their tent! There are way to many raccoons there I had to sleep in my car to even feel safe there! Also the amount of firewood we got for 20 bucks was ridiculous, it didnt even last one day and we barely used it for cooking. It was also half burned already... also the bushes around the campsite were all so sharp me and my family ended up with a ton of scratches by the end of the weekend, (we also couldn't avoid the bushes as they were everywhere where we had to park out vehicles....
After 20 years of camping there Normally I'd say this place is great and the views are always amazing.. However a convenient conversation with the owners has brought a huge problem to my attention.. If your apart of low income they will judge you and shove you away...new to camping dont come here unless your packing a few thousand dollars for a few nights and new to their rules NO TENTS OR POP UPS 《--this is not on there site as of Feb.15,2020. Your future depends on new campers being created that's not happening here..waste of such beautiful space basically it's a seniors campground. Contact me when it stops being a seniors campground and your owners are more accepting of lower income (who are not leaving the site in a pile of garbage).
