You don't find any better place if you are looking for Taiwanese food in Toronto. Service was quick. It was too busy during the first month soft opening period, but now the quality and wait time is very reasonable! Besides, they have all the classic drinks from Taiwan and newer healthier options. Guess that's why they are call Bistro. Must try are deep fried tofu and spicy pork with rice ( forget what's the name of it)

Must try the popcorn chicken. Lightly breaded and delicately crisp, and juicy and steamy hot inside. Generous serving size at great price. Traditional beef noodle with spicy oil with perfectly cooked, slightly chewy thick noodle in a nicely matched soup base. The spicy minced pork rice was nice too, but could use slightly more topping to balance the volume of rice. Otherwise, flavour is all there.
Service was surprisingly great for a packed house. The pork belly was not as soft as I thought it would be; however, everything from the fried tofu, fried chicken, omelette beef wraps, boiled cabbage, and minced pork on rice. They were accommodating of bringing extra chili oil and pickled vegetables. If you're craving rice and want homey food that hits the spot. This place will cure many mom's cooking cravings.
The food is pretty quick. The taste is not bad. It's a small restaurant, so sometimes you will need to wait for a table, especially if it's for a big group.
Excellent value combos and great tasting! The popcorn chicken is very yummy and good sized portions. They also have these Asian drinks that you don't commonly find; Hey Song root beer and this Apple Cider. There are other locations and the menu seems to vary. I give them 8/10!
Very well priced, good lunch combos. All this food comes for 13 and it is all tasty. The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant has nice leather chairs is kinda small inside but have never had an issue getting a seat during lunch time. Great all around food.
Very very average food. I feel that I can get better Taiwanese else where in Toronto at better price than this. Disappointed.
Would consider it as best Taiwanese cuisine in Toronto. Great food, decent price and friendly staff. Their popcorn chickens, fusion egg rolls/ omelet, and spicy minced pork dry noodles are my favorite. Jin Xuan tea is very nice too, and hard to find elsewhere in town.
