Our church used this location for their retreat in August of 2019. There was over 40 people and we stayed for two nights and 3 days. The service was phenomenal, the food was served hot and on time. The cabins have all been upgraded so they are more like hotels than lodges. We used the smaller worship center with new floors and perfect hook up for our sound and instruments. The bonfire was the highlight, and even though we didn't get much sleep, we definitely had a great worship experience and we will go back again and again. Special thanks to Ruth and Daniela for making our stay so comfortable. Two thumbs up for Upper Canada Camp and a big THANK YOU!

We had a great time at upper Canada camp. The facilities were clean and renovated and adequate for our men’s retreat The main lodge had everything we needed for the services, foldable tables and ample chairs helped with different group formats. We enjoyed the sporting facilities extensively Which included an outdoor soccer field complete with goal nets and an indoor gym for volleyball and basketball The food was very delicious, we were pleasantly surprised at the home cooked menu from the fresh baked bread to the savoury chicken dinner we had Saturday Our church is looking forward to many more retreats at Upper Canada

Amazing place for retreat. They have main cabin, and gym place to play sports during break time. Bonfire was great as well. Will definitely come back!

Cookies are life

This is the second time that I have stayed at this campground. The first time , there were little to no issues. Unfortunately, this time it was not so nice. First and foremost, the hosts provided hard and burnt cookies as our snacks upon arrival. I see this as a sign of disrespect. I'm sure if they knew that the mayor of Mississauga was coming, they would have made a better effort to serve proper cookies. While I appreciate that the cookies were baked in their own ovens, its better to serve your guests packaged cookies than hard, overly crisp cookies. What a dismal view you have of paying guests that you would have the effrontery to serve such atrocities! Sadly, the terrible cookies were a sign of worse things to come. As the weekend progressed, the staff were wooden, unhelpful and appeared to be upset during our entire stay. Its like they couldn't wait for us to leave. WOW. We asked for simple things like water and staff said they had to 'check with the manager first'. For a water refill? so disgraceful! Their negative body language and lack of enthusiasm certainly put a thick damper on the mood. A positive is that the facilities were clean and there is a lot of space for activities. There are more objections, but the most significant was the poor service by the staff. It was badly done this time around UCC, badly done!
