Sold a 2020 F-350 Platinum with a factory defect in the sunroof because the drain line wasn't properly connected which caused rain to pour in like a garden hose all over the back seat (at least that's where we could see it, who knows where else it leaked). After fixing the defect and admitting the factory defect, the only offer they have made so far was to provide a seat cover. The rear seat is leather and has cooling and heated seat function, not to mention any other electronics which may have been exposed to moisture from the time it left the assembly line. It's unfortunate that they were the dealer to have to sell this vehicle, but on a 100,000 truck it's also up to them to fight for the customer and go back to Ford requesting a write off. The truck has less than 5,000km, it's still BRAND NEW and they expect the customer to just accept the defect without even an offer of compensation for the potential long term effects of the damage. Who wants to deal with a truck full of electronics that have been exposed to water? Don't expect them to defend the customer for a blatant factory flaw, they won't.
Couldn’t have received better service or care! Ordered the vehicle remotely (during COVID-times) and it was exactly as ordered and spotless! Really appreciated how easy it was to get all of my questions answered remotely and I will be loving my Bronco for many years to come!! Thank you Peninsula Ford Lincoln!
