If you looking for professional survey company in the area this is it. Ian did survey for my neighbor. It was actually done because of questions if our fence was properly placed. He did not have any obligations to explain anything to us. Not only he was very professional and pleasant but when he was done he took time to explain situation with our other neighbor (in a bad weather non the less). All his explanations were more than I got from the other company in town. When I had questions and concerns for the original company I hired they responded that my client relationship with them ended when I received their report of survey. Here I got free advice. If ever again I would need surveying services without question it will be this company. Highly recommend their services.

I am in the process of using this firm for staking out my home. I have found them to be quite professional, very responsive to my questions and reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again as well as recommend them to others.
I moved into my new home Sept.2016 and required a land survey to put up a fence. I found Hewett & Milne on-line and they came out to conduct the survey at a charge of 850.00. Approximately one year later, I contacted them to send me a copy of my survey, so I could find the stakes. They said it would take a few days, but would get it to me. When I called back about a week later they said they did not have any paper work and it would cost me a few hundred just for them to come out or I could use a metal detector and find it myself. I cannot believe they are still in business as they do not have any idea of customer service. If you deal with these guys make sure you get a copy of the survey before you pay them, as they seem to be money hungry. I would NOT recommend this company!!!
