Really bad experience. Stayed at this place one night because it was last minute and could not find a decent pet-friendly place. Dirty carpet, found someone else's clothes in the drawers which tells me no one cleaned the room before we went in. They promise breakfast and then gave me an excuse for not having anything. no hairdryer. Made us pay an unreasonable amount extra for 2 kids and a small dog. Cheap pillows, hard mattresses. Toilet paper holder was broken they overcharge and do not deliver. Do not stay here. Staff can't speak English. The manager was rude and unhelpful. I have paid less in downtown Toronto at the Royal York, and when I asked for late check out the woman told me to be out at 11 or she would call the cops on me. I don't know how they are still in business.

This is one of the best motels in Owen Sound , I have stayed at several. The rooms are clean with kitchenettes or fridges and microwaves. I highly recommend.end this motel to anyone that visits Owen Sound or for just a night away with your sweetheart . Your also invited in the morning to a complementary breakfast. Just call Mike the owner for reservations, tell him Dwayne sent ya . Oh ya , pets are allowed.
I stayed here awhile ago and forgot to put a review. The guy working was really nice. We were stranded for the night with 6 people and a dog and we managed to get two rooms with late notice. No issue with having my dog either. Thanks It’s a 2 ️ motel so we didn’t expect much, it’s just like a basic room to sleep and nothing special. Room was tidy.
wifi is very poor. so poor you can not use your phone to find anything. —- electric outlets are so old your plug falls out. —could use a fire extinguisher
The owners were friendly. The room was basic. No problem. The overwhelming odor in the room - problem!! It would not dissipate despite leaving the door open for an hour. You cannot open the windows, so you are forced to sleep (poorly) with the oppressive smell. I could not wait to get out for fresh air in the morning. Perhaps taking up the old carpet and replacing it with tiles or floating floor would help - I don't know. I would never go back.
This place is really messy: stained and dirty beds and sheets (lots of hair on the sheets and yellow / gray stains). Dust is everywhere and the humidity in the rooms is really unpleasant (my sheets were so wet that the humidity was present). The smell of rugs smells of cat pee. Customer service is dire. I tried to get some reimbursement for the non-ownership and customer satisfaction is not a priority. The rooms are NOT worth the price paid. Message to travelers: Go your own way and don't stop to sleep at this motel. The reception represents the upkeep of the place ... in a mess. It's not a reception it's a closet of lost items ...
This motel was bad. 2 pillows only. The room was not very clean. There was a coffee pot and coffee but no filters. The little bar fridge was frozen. The front desk clerk said that my boyfriend was very old. This place was the worst I have ever stayed at.
DISGUSTING! This is be the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. My car would have been more confortable. There was a gross odour in the room and it was so humid that my sheets were wet. All the furniture was dirty and stained. Honestly, avoid this place if you don’t want to get sick!
