I had a structural report done by Dorel Mihai from Star Engineering and Construction Ltd in August 2014. He recommended sistering of three notched joists on the whole length. As it is difficult and expensive, I did nothing except worrying for 5 and half years until recently, when I came across a product that would make it much easier and so much cheaper. I emailed Dorel two days ago with the link to the product page and asked if this is something worth trying. Dorel answered me the next day while on vacation and agreed to review the product if I would send him a new link as the one I sent wasn’t working. I did that, he approved of the joist repair kit and I am really grateful to him as the new product will make the repair a breeze. The best consumer service ever. Thank you, Dorel.

I recently encountered with a few problems doing a renovation project in my old house. I was stuck in the middle of the process and was in panic trying to find some solutions. I was very pleased with the customer service, professional attitude, and effectiveness that all my issues were addressed. I was provided with a detailed report, all necessary drawings and very clear and comprehensive explanations. I was also offered a number of alternative suggestions to my specific requirements. I would recommend Star Engineering to anybody who needs reliable and affordable service.

Dorel, I have been waiting for you to send me the CAD drawings via email. You have not passed a stamped drawings either. You have not answered questions either. It is extremely difficult to work with you!! Please send them to me ASAP.
