We've bought several games here over the years. Nice selection, for sure. However today we stopped in to get a recommendation for a board game to play with our family. The owner (manager?) said that he had no idea what to recommend since he only played chess. \What's popular then?\, we asked. \Oh that's all been sold.\. As we left, we asked if there was a website (hoping to browse that way) and the answer was \We don't have a website; we have a store.\ That combined with a table blocking the door when you arrive, saying \No browsing\ and a curt, \What would you like?\ while you stand outside the door and he sits at his desk all says to me that they don't want our business. So we headed over to the nearby \Strategy Games\ store (250 Bank St. at Lisgar) where we were greeted by a couple of friendly staff who made numerous recommendations for us.

This board game store is an interesting place. The product is strewn around the store occupying floor space even tho there is shelf space available. There is a good selection but you might have dig around to find what you're looking for. The prices are good for retail. The store is worn and there hasn't been anything done to update it.

I have mixed feelings about this store. Pricing and selection is really good, and the owner was king enough to process a return despite the purchase being over a year old. However, the owner is also extremely snarky and short tempered. Seen him yell/snap at people in store for no good reason. Customer service definitely not A1...
