Staff works there on the phone they should not have a job went there yesterday 15mins late call them said going be late they said it will be ok when got there they said never come back because late it was a long drive to get there thumb down to the staff

I visited a few years ago. Dr had all kinds of patience with me explaining my genetic condition, treatment available. Fabulous follow up. I referred my sister and she had ear surgery taking her hearing from 80 percent loss to 25 percent loss. She was thrilled as her previous ent offered no options. My brother is now planning on seeing him. Life changer for our family.
Dr. Souaid is even more ignorant than his bad-mannered admin staff who found it acceptable to talk poorly of other patients without hesitation. Not welcoming or friendly and my reminder notice of the appointment came at 6:30-7pm the night before by automated message. This was their first and only form of correspondence. Following my lovely experience in the waiting area, his greeting when entering the room was “Why are you here, you’re hearing is perfect”, yet I wasn’t there for hearing issues. I found him disrespectful and dismissive with his repeated interruptions on me seeing an orthodontist when I was trying to explain my symptoms. I won’t ignore his suggestion of an orthodontist but the condescending attitude wasn’t necessary. He seems to have forgotten there’s a process of elimination when trying to determine the cause of a patient’s affliction; which I figured was the reason for my referral. Understandable, ..no? Unnerved, I found it hard to explain the pain but when I finally got out how it originates and a couple other symptoms, these fell under his “field of expertise”, but again dismissed. He had zero interest in investigating these symptoms while I explored other avenues. Needless to say (but I will ) not impressed with the services of this office after the painfully long wait. The only pleasantness of the experience was seeing the gentleman conducting the hearing tests greeting patients equally.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Souaid. He worked with me multiple times a month for over a year trying to fix my ear/hearing loss. Unfortunately my ear is beyond repair, but he wrote me a personal letter to the Civic's hearing centre and within a few weeks I was fitted for a BAHA hearing implant. I dont usually write reviews, but after reading other patients call him rude, loud, and disrespectful I felt I had no choice. Dr Souaid greeted me every time with a smile and a handshake and was always very polite to my wife and I. I would recommend Dr Souaid to anyone!
I have been going here for over a year now and am very pleased with Dr. Souaid and his team. I had a misdiagnosed ear infection from 2 trips to a walk-in clinic and was immediately squeezed in by the receptionist to get the proper diagnosis and medication. I am absolutely grateful for her compassion, understanding and support, she certainly went above and beyond. Dr. Souaid is efficient and to the point, follow-up appointments are quick and booked effortlessly. Thank you!
