The food was amazing! Had the calamari to start and the beer battered haddock. So filling and delicious! Place is a tad to small for me personally but some would say its cozy. Staff is amazing and sweet aswell.

Nice service, friendly staff, great food I stopped by here this afternoon because I was told they have the best fish and chips in Ottawa. They have a lot of options which gave me hard time to decide. I was thinking about cod or haddock but ended up with poutine. First mate poutine was good! It has fish and crab toppings on the top. Gravy was heavy enough. I enjoyed! But I will try fish n chips next time for sure!

Our waitress Kisha was AMAZING. The food was good, but I felt overpriced, and the decor is pretty cool. Tried the haddock and cod fish & chips. Both were good, but I couldn't tell the difference in flavour. The pricing is a bit weird, the 1 piece haddock is cheaper than the 1pc cod, but the 2pc haddock is more expensive than the 2pc cod?!?! Calamari was good, but you don't get enough for 2 people even though it's about 15. The spinach dip was good, and the crows nest (fried onions) is pretty good as well. To be honest I didn't find anything extraordinary about the food. It was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, especially since it's a bit expensive. I'd give it 3.5 stars.

I liked this little place. The food was really good and worth the price. The place is rather small, but it wasn't very busy at the time. Would definitely go to again!

Small but homey place. Very quiet neighborhood. Our server was great, very energetic, and informative. Food arrived timely. The grilled cajun basa was super yummy! Lots of side dishes options too.

Great little resteraunt with awesome charm, quaint design and fabulous food with generous portions. Both my husband and I loved our food He tried both my gluten free haddock ( which I loved) and his haddock and said they were both amazing.

Very good and very friendly service. Had the cod, my wife had haddock. Both good. Reasonably priced. A little on the greasy side, but hey, it’s fish and chips after all!
