Great coffee and chocolates. Found this place walking back to work. I never usually take this part of Kent st. Glad I did today. The coffee is really good. Definitely recommend this as a downtown coffee stop.
I am giving this place a 5 star rating based on my recent experience. I haven’t actually been to the shop as it was closed on Monday long weekend when I went to check it out - my main interest was Leonidas chocolate (those who know good chocolate will understand). Since I was going back to Toronto that day I decided to order the chocolate online as the option was available. I had a special request that was accommodated (I am a dark chocolate fanatic and have my favourite kind too). A few days later the package arrived (the entire family waiting with anticipation), and voila! Amazing, delicious, fresh dark chocolate for the entire family to enjoy! I can’t wait to go back and try their coffee too! Thank you!
Essentially the best espresso I've ever had in town and perhaps the only coffee shop that uses the traditional group espresso machine with levers. Always excellent service, fine chocolate and biscotti. Their logo does not do them justice at all! Vote with your money there if you want to promote proper coffee in downtown Ottawa.
Wonderful, friendly service. The coffee is deliciously smooth and not at all bitter. The chocolates are delightfully decadent and worth the money.
