I had my driveway paved by Black Tar. Great service! Very friendly and professional dealings with all staff members involved in this contract. The price was reasonable compared with other estimates. Inquiries were responded to in a timely fashion. Very helpful when giving advice about follow up maintenance and care.

I was looking for a good and professional ashphalt paving contractors to repave my whole drive way but as you know it is hard to find a reliable one these day because the good ones alway booked up. I was lucky that Black Tar Paving was doing a drive way in my neighborhood and I asked them if they can do my drive way at the same time. They accepted to do and they did such wonderful job . They show up next morning with all their equipment and a Truck loadoload of and gravel and start the work. They were really professional on their job and were using appropriate machnary for the job. They also lay down my whole driveway with Finisher ashphalt which usually used for commercial applications. The job done very smoothly without any complication . They happily delivers what they promised. I highly recommend this company for any one who is looking for professional an good job done. But I believe you need to book in advance because these guys are super busy.
After receiving several quotes for re-saving driveway and relevel stone walkway we decided on Black Tar. The quote the stonework , which I was not aware they did was the best compared to the others. The driveway which was higher than the others but based on the higher grade ashphalt and a longer warranty but especially combing both as the relevelling the walkway was required to be done first made it more convenient. The work on the walkway was excellent and done very well. I let them know they needed to promote this more The driveway after being ripped up was done quickly and professionally. In both cases I was advised during the process what was happening which I appreciate. The final results were excellent for both jobs. After they explained in detail what to do after the job was done. I would highly recommend them
We had Black Tar completely remove our old single driveway and double it. We are pleased with the job and next spring hope to have this company interlock the sides of the driveway and front walk. I would recommend this company.
Black Tar recently repaved my long driveway in Ottawa. Overall the entire process went very well. An initial quote was completed very quickly and I appreciated having a detailed description of the work that would be completed. The cost was also significantly less than quotes from other contractors. The paving itself went smoothly. Black Tar confirmed all of the work I wanted completed and updated me as the work was being done. All of the old asphalt was removed and a new gravel bed was laid and compacted. Then, the new asphalt was put down. Once finished they gave me specific instructions for how to care for the new asphalt. The new driveway turned out very well and is a huge improvement over the old one. I'd happily recommend Black Tar to anyone looking to complete paving work.
