First, what I liked: -The restaurant was cozy, well decorated, and clean -The server was attentive and enthusiastic about the food -Good COVID safety measures Sadly I didn’t enjoy the food that much. The flavours didn’t strike me as positively memorable. Some of the dishes were too sour. I know it’s supposed to be small, shared plates, but we ordered 6 plates which came to over 110 and we still weren’t full. If you come here be prepared to see some very small servings for 15-20 a plate.

Casual fine dining at it's finest. I was there on a date-night and Bar Laurel did not disappoint. To the tasteful selection of beverages to choose from, and all the extra, to the outstanding menu containing so many fantastic dishes, my experience at bar Laurel left me looking forward to the next time I can visit. Not to be outdone by the food, the service was top notch and left a first-class impression. Very well done!
Everything about this place is awesome front to back. The space, drinks, food, service, and people are amazing - however tried ordering in for the first time with the dinner for two option to support some of the local restaurants. Oh my god. I expect food to be a bit worse when delivered for obvious reasons, but they did it right. Tapas were great, lots of dishes, and somehow our pork was perfectly cooked as in it would be tough to get it better at the restaurant. I’m hoping things open again soon, but if we don’t Bar Laurel set the standard for takeout. Thanks!
Bar Laurel offers a wonder experience of food, drink and service. The menu variety and depth of flavour pair with a wonderful selection of wines make a great evening out. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful and had a great personality that added to our night on the patio. The cocktails were some of the best I've ever had!
Patio out back is great! Recently went to the patio again, however, there were no cocktails. Luckily, they were able to find a seat at the front which was really appreciated. Unfortunately, the waitress barely paid attention to us and it took a ridiculous amount of time to get drinks and our bill. She seemed to enjoy spending a large amount of time with all the other guests, specifically the young men...
Very nice low key relaxed atmosphere. There’s a gate around the patio so you don’t feel like you’re getting too close to anyone on the sidewalk. Service was great. I’m not usually a huge cocktail person since I find them too sweet or overly complicated , but I absolutely loved their “frosé”. Their charcuterie was very good as well.
Excellent food and good service. Went there with wife for my birthday Dan's we both enjoyed it.
Very tasty food, good service and atmosphere. I will be back.
