Great place to live. I have been here at 860 Blackthorne for six years. Michael Agar is responsible for my building and many more within the CLV Group. This building is very well maintained. We see the maintenance crew on a daily base making sure the lobby area, halls, the wash room is clean. I really enjoy the rooftop patio equipped with lawn chairs and BBQ's. The exercise room is very well maintained.The front of the building is welcoming with all kinds of flowers. The overall maintenance of the grounds is excellent. Since I am here I never had a problem with snow removal. Michael is always available by phone, email or in person at the office. I give Michael Agar Five Star for the overall maintenance of the property. Claude Lacroix

Good place but rent is a bit higher than I wanted for a 1 bedroom
It has now been 9 months since I moved at this property and I have absolutely no regrets. The premises are well maintained inside as well as outside. Beautiful flowers and plants outside and a nice groomed lawn. Cudos to Mike, Shawn and Xian ;) for always a having a beautiful smile on their faces. Thank you for taking good care of us! My first time living in an apartment setting environment and I must admit that I have visited many other locations before applying for this place specifically. One of the main reasons for me to really want to live here was because of the courtesy, follow-up emails, and returned calls that I didn't receive at any other locations I visited! Thank you so much to the CLV team for the incredible customer service and care we received when viewing the apartment and moving in! Connor was very quick to respond to emails and find a viewing time. I actually forgot to respond to his first email, and a week later he sent a follow-up email with more viewing times. I have never had anyone follow-up with me before- most apartments I looked at prior to moving in were slow to answer emails when we proposed an intent to rent. He proved to be professional and accommodating, and our experience with the rest of the CLV team has not differed. When we went to move in, we were only able to do so on labour day weekend, when most businesses were shut down. However, Connor arranged for another staff member from a different building to be present to give us our keys and inspect the unit with us, in order to be accommodating to our crazy schedules. We were so touched at this gesture! The CLV team left a little care package for us upon move in with some essentials, like dish soap and sponges. Again, it was so thoughtful and incredibly appreciated! The building manager was kind and helpful when we were moving in furniture, and even allowed us to use the elevator a second time during the day, where in previous apartments I had to book a specific time that was not flexible. He even took the time to ensure we got the bigger elevator- another small gesture that was quite appreciated. The team even allowed us to change our parking spot when we found the one assigned was difficult to access without question or judgement. Throughout our tenancy, if we have had any questions or repair requests, they have always been answered in a timely manner and dealt with immediately and respectfully. The CLV team is professional, efficient, thoughtful, and quick to help. Their unparalleled customer service has made the entire process (contact, viewing, move-in, and tenancy) stress-free and easy. :)
Been here for a little over a year (first apartment). Property manager is nice and helpful. Mostly older tenants, so it's not too noisy. Very good location, too, with everything you can possibly need just minutes away. Bus stop right behind the parking lot (no specific area for guest parking, though; just the street). May hear sirens every now and then because of the fire station and hospital, but you get used to it. And it's nice to see trees when you look outside. As for the apartment itself, sadly not everything was renovated when I moved in, but the overall look is decent. Living room and bedroom are big enough, and there's a small, separate dining area, which is nice. No AC, but you can install a window unit. And pets are allowed! All in all, pretty satisfied so far. I'd recommend this place.
