Great place to meet others with brain injury, find resources to assist ones journey, and relax with others that understand and wont judge you.

From the first time and every single time following walking in through the front doors I've been met with a feeling like I'm home. From the generous volunteers to the professional staff everyone recieves concerned understanding and guidance. The emotional support provided by The Brain Injury Association of Durham has changed my life for the better forever more. I couldn't thank them enough if I tried.

Great selection of information about our brains, great classes support stAff and free lunch. I should of also added the comments that I'm not sure but I don't think that they r funded by the gov. I'm only going from when I was filling out transportation form from ODSP they wouldn't recognize BIAD AS a medical appt.SO frustrated BIAD helps me in so many ways that it saves me from seeing a doctor or taking extra medication.!!!Oh that's right prov.gov. doesn't believe in preventative medicine. Sorry needed to vent.
