We stayed in one of the yurts at waterside. It was a refreshing change to having to lug along, set up and tear down a tent, especially since we had rain to contend with on this trip. The maple yurt had a nice dining table and 4 chairs, room for 5 to sleep in 2 bunk setups, one having enough room for my spouse and I on lower level of one. Each is much more comfortable than we expected. The lot is in between a playground area and a swimming area. On our lot was a firepit and picnic table, great for dining outdoors. There is also an outdoor pool in the harbour, open when weather permits. Had we been here a few weeks later, there is a great spot for shore fishing steps away which I am sure would be great for bass. We saw a few pike come up on the line of a local fisherman. The office attendant was super friendly and sweet. We would most certainly recommend hammock harbour and would look to come back in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!
Love this park. Kids have fun, nice clean pool, sites are spaced and placed nicely. People are so nice. Fun for all, and such a great seasonal price
Our Family are Avid Boater's, I must Say our Slip is Fantastic & very affordable for the location, The Staff are all Very Friendly & Helpful,Grounds are always impeccable, Fellow boaters all friendly.Clean washrooms ,given the current situation in the world,social distance policy is top notch
My family and I have been coming to this park every year for almost 30 years. We have shared so many wonderful memories here over the years and the park feels like home and the residents, like family. This park really is a gem as it is right on lake Couchiching, near the narrows. The cost of our seasonal fees and mooring cannot be beat and is cheap considering the great value. The owners and managers of the park are the nicest, most sincere people you could ever meet and they too feel like family after all these years. We look forward to many more years here at the hammock.
