Great spot by the Pickering waterfront. Been here a number of times and it doesn’t disappoint. Today I was there for lunch and we had some great sandwiches. So tasty and just the right mix of ingredients. Have also been here a number of times for a great selection of different cafes. Great quality coffee. The staff are always nice too. Will come here again

I really liked the atmosphere and the space! It’s warm and welcoming even during a pandemic. So I am sure it’ll be more cozy when this is over. I mainly just got a cup of coffee and a sandwich and the quality wasn’t so bad. However, I will say that the price isn’t the greatest for what you’re getting. I would definitely pay over 10 for a sandwich if it was made fresh instead of a pastry and then warmed up. The coffee on the other hand was pretty good and I had it black. I probably would come back for the coffee next time when conditions are more favourable and weather warmer
Great place for a hot chocolate sandwich and muffin. Will be coming back. Friendly staff, and nice atnosphere/art pieces all over the cafe
Very nice little spot by the waterfront. Decor is nice and art surrounding the walls. Host was nice and offer a variety of options. I had an iced coffee and tried some other drinks. The drinks were pretty good and they use paper straws to boot. Having Lake Ontario right outside gave us a nice walk with our drinks
Fantastic atmosphere and great food. The breakfast sandwiches were absolutely amazing! Please help support this excellent independent cafe during these tough times. They have live music outside on Saturdays.
Great espresso, wonderful location near the lake in Pickering. Worth a trip for a scenic walk on the beach topped off with an amazing espresso from OpenStudio Art Cafe.
For Pickering this isn't a bad little shop. Doesn't touch the Coffee shops in Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville or Burlington, but you don't usually find small shops like this in Pickering to Oshawa area. They have Oat milk too which is a bonus for east of Toronto. Also in a scenic area of Pickering. All and all a good little shop that I would easily go to over the corporate coffee shops in the area.
The Art Cafe has been my favorite place to snack and hang at the Pickering Waterfront since it opened several years ago. The extremely entrepreneurial owner Michelle has created a fun relaxed scene for artists, so the walls of the Cafe are covered in beautiful art created in classes she ran there before coronavirus, and she frequently hosts live music performances by local musicians. The recently expanded patio has made it even better, with a view of Lake Ontario. I find the coffee exceptionally smooth and I can't seem to get enough of the gourmet grilled sandwiches.
