I phoned Ontario bearing and industrial supplies Inc and asked for a 6304 c4 bearing and was asked several questions as to why I needed this, so I explained to the staffer on the the phone that it was for a go kart engine, the crankshaft bearings. As soon as i said that the man on the phone started going off on me saying \ you go kart guys are always calling here asking for bearings\ go somewhere else to get them and went on like this 3-4 minutes. I dont understand the poor service I got. I was straight to the point and wanted a 6304 c4 bearing this is a very common bearing in gearboxes, automotive and motorcycle which on your website you say you cater too. I gave you the bearing size and specifications and not only did you not have one but didn't even offer to order me some instead tell me to go \somewhere else\ to find them and just the lack of help and tone from him was very unprofessional. I ended calling the next bearing supplier down on the Google list and I was greeted cordially on the phone placed my order , they had 37 of these \special bearings\ in stock, and due to the pandemic they offered to ship them to my door via Canada post, Thats service I'll go back to that. Im writing this review because this guy on the phone was not very helpful nor was he polite and I didn't appreciate his poor service . Customers beware dont ever ask for 6304 c4 bearings or you will suffer the same fate.

Great products, terrible retail policy. This store has thousands of smaller parts, supplies, chemicals and tools for commercial, industrial and home mechanical projects, some of which may be hard to find elsewhere, These all should retail from 5 to 20 or so. Unfortunately the store has an unreasonable \policy\ of a 50 minimum charge, and will not actually sell you anything unless you spend 57,50 (tax in) for any one purchase. There is no other store that does this...... they have the products, you have the money but they refuse to sell you anything unless you spend an exorbitant amount. This destroys the convenience for potentially thousands of people who don't need that much stuff. It makes no sense, their costs are fixed, they have the staff, the store is often empty, so... why not make the smaller sales? It's not as if they're going to lose anything by selling smaller items. There's no logical reason why they cannot do what millions of other retailers do successfully and sell in smaller quantities. Unfortunately all this does is annoy and frustrate people who, like me usually go elsewhere for needed supplies. Furthermore, the store has no prices marked on anything. You have to take it to the counter... where you find there's no modern cashier system. No bar codes readers, nothing. Best I can see the staff make -up the prices then give you a hand - written receipt. Inconvenient, unprofessional and time consuming. The staff are pleasant and helpful, but struggle under these loopy policies that were instigated by an owner who is either utterly incompetent, oblivious or is deliberately operating a money - losing cash -based business for their own purposes.
