We where treated to a wonderful meal by the staff at OLO. Great farm to table preparation and presentation. Truly a gem in the city of Victoria. Flavours and matches from a chef and staff that care. As always, we had to try just about everything on the menu and nothing disappointed. If you have a chance, make sure you make a reservation and go.

Food is very tasty BUT be prepared to spend a hefty amount of money. Our party bought the 3 course meal for 56. The potions were somewhat small in my opinion considering the price but it's our last day here in Victoria, Go big or go home right? Once in a blue moon here is perfectly fine. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. Not a bad way to end our vacation!
You have one week to get in here and I suggest you do. This was sooooo delectable. My Herb & Ricotta Agnolotti dish was unreal, but the dessert really blew my mind. Goes down for the best dessert I've ever had.
Good cocktails. Food is great too. Fresh ingredients and unique taste. The chocolate dessert was excellent as well.
Amazing food! Highly recommend the pork belly & octopus as well as the lingcod. Beautifully presented and great ambience as well.
Wow! What a fantastic dining experience. The farm-to-table tasting menu was exceptional and I especially loved the mixed pairing with some interesting ciders, wines and liquors. I was dining on my own while on a work trip so I sat at the bar. I had a great time talking with the staff. Their service was fast and friendly. A definite redo!
A dinner at OLO left us with mixed feelings. We truly enjoyed the relaxed and cozy atmosphere of the place. The service exceeded our expectations: when we made our choice, our server suggested a particular order of dishes for the best experience. The mains were fantastic, with halibut & octopus being absolutely stellar, potentially the best we had to date. What not to like? Well, all other courses were lacklustre at best, with unbalanced and excessively sharp tastes. Even the desert failed to impress us: the Black Forest cake was sweet through and through, with no hint of chocolate bitterness. We'll definitely remember the atmosphere, service and the execution of the main dishes, while it's better to forget the rest of the dinner.
A notable farm to table restaurant in Victoria with a relaxed atmosphere and low key decor. It looks like the menu is heavily inspired by the new Nordic cuisine (ash covered beets, kelp butter emulsion etc). The restaurant offers two kinds of tasting menu, with vegetarian options available. We decided to choose a la carte, and we were quite impressed by the mains: roasted halibut and seared duck breast. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We did expect a bit more interesting vegetable-centric appetizers. Pasta and risotto were a bit heavy on acidity. The service was fantastic: from the moment we were greeted, given recommendations, and getting our food in a perfectly timely fashion.
