Great view and great cabins. 3 to choose from. Right beside the Athabaska River. Mountain few just an awesome ace to stay. Mary is a great hostess. And horses are around too. Highly recommend.

Old Entrance is a place to find peace...to sit and watch the idyllic views.....to enjoy walks/hikes/trail rides along and above the Athabasca. Time for just enjoying the simple things of life. We stayed in the Grey Cabin with our Dachshund Ozzie who thoroughly enjoyed all around him. Rustic..comfortable...all facilities you need...and a lovely porch to relax on in the sun or a campfire to keep you cozy on the colder days. Mary Luger is friendly...willing to inform or help....will take you on Trail rides. Her love of her home shines from her soul... GO ENJOY . you will wonder where your time there disappeared.

Amazing experience. Mary is super friendly and funny. My boyfriend and I drove from Toronto to Jasper and a horseback ride was on my list. It exceeded my expectations. You get amazing views, well tempered horses who are well groomed and cared for. If you have the chance to visit here, DO IT! Thank you for such a great day! Next time we’re out here, we will be back :)

Breathtaking views. Excellent, knowledgeable guide. Cabins and Teepees available to stay right along side the river! Prices are also excellent

This is the best place to stay when heading to the Mountains. Its so quaint and private and you get a really great morning view. I recently stayed in the brown cabin (few weekends back) and it was super cozy and very neat and clean. My girl friend and I had a fabulous weekend getaway. Such a healing experience and I will definitely be going back! Mary (owner) was super helpful with her words of advice and I will always be grateful to her. I hope everyone has a marvelous stay there like we did!
