We lucked out due to COVID cancellations and snagged a stay over the May long weekend. Celebrating our 39th anniversary looking at the sky was AMAZING. Just perfect as a way to mark a milestone. It's possible to cook for yourself as the suite was equipped with absolutely anything you might need, and the barbecue area outside is similarly well-equipped. Jack and Alice are delightfully hospitable, the breakfasts were delicious, and Jack's stories about his life as an amateur astronomer are fascinating. All of which pales beside looking through Jack's telescope at the sun and watching a solar flare in real time. Spectacular.
