Family Room

Always had a good experience at this new and improved hospital. Sure the staff may be imperfect but they are certainly much friendlier and more professional than other GTA hospitals (like Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill). The building is beautifully designed, providing ample walking space in hallways, lots of parking, indoor shopping galleria, and most inpatient rooms are private (I think around 80%). If you do stay as a patient, you will also be given a meal menu that allows you to custom order your meal (or snack), whenever you want the food (rather than a standard meal being delivered at a standard time). Finally, and perhaps most importantly, OTMH has very strict Covid-19 policies in place - which is expected and appreciated. Keep up the great work y’all!!! We stand by you!!!

I ONLY would go to Oakville Hospital for treatment, following an extremely traumatic experience at Joseph Brant. Personal shout out to Shea (wish I knew her last name), whom is a nurse within the emergency department for her caring and kind support during my stay. Her, along with all of her colleagues were amazing and deserve all of the recognition for what they do and how well they do it. Thanks all, This is the only way I could put it in writing! Tara

Visited ER for chest pain... Reception was quite quick to accept me and take a look. I had some heart rate abnormalities, therefore they took me in and did a few tests to figure out the problem and make sure I am safe. Most doctors, nurses and stuff were awesome in their professions. Thank you Oakville Hospital Stuff for taking good care of me, I appreciate you and wish you all kinds of blessings .

We had Outstanding care for my 87 yrs young father after a fall and hip surgery. Nurses and staff are friendly and helpful. During this lock down when no visitation was aloud , hospital provided free t.v. and set up virtual visits daily. Thank You nurses from 4 North Unit 1 you are All Angels ️
