Worst experience ever for buying a house. The sales woman has a lot of attitude and does not seem like she is interested in selling the house. We had agreed on a sales price with her sales colleague and we were ready to close the deal but she wants us to write up the offer and wants us to further sign that if the builder does not accept our offer, we HAVE to accept the builders counter offer whatever it may be. I don't think it is even legally allowed. On top of it she wants us to wait for 2 days before getting the response from the builder. Since it was only 30 minutes before the office closing time, she may just be trying to get rid of us. If this the builder policy then it is even worst as the builder wants to get a guaranteed price from us but wants to have extra couple of days to attract someone else to get a higher price. There are 4 or 5 other builders in the area and I am surprised these guys are getting away with these kind of unethical and potentially illegal ways of dealings with the customers. If the builder is able to sell these houses with this kind of sales person then it is definitely a builder's market. If this was the presales attitude, I can't imagine how they treat the customers after the sales.
