Hannah carpentry was wonderful. Made us a custom free standing shelf piece for our living room, along with an awesome new table and bench for our eating area. The custom work done is really great quality, and he keeps you involved the whole way with texts of pictures regarding progress. I highly recommend.

We absolutely love our dining room table created by Dave. First off, Dave is such an awesome guy to work with - kind, patient, and dedicated and passionate about his craft. He's been at this for years and it's clear he's always been aiming to perfect his methods and deliver a product that will last forever (he'll even buy back your table if you're not happy for some reason). His pricing is very transparent and clear, and he also offers very reasonable delivery and comes to set up your table himself. It's truly a custom process which we loved and Dave seems to take the client's lead on how closely they want to be involved. For us, we loved being able to see the boards as they were selected and get updates as the treatments were applied. Dave really worked with us to achieve the unique look we were after and he was always so committed to getting us a table we'd love. I think he threw just about every tool in his shop at this table to get the level of distressing we were looking for :P He even looked at pictures of our space to give guidance on the stain and called it out himself when he thought we had gotten too dark, and proceeded to lighten it up. He most definitely went above and beyond and we're so appreciative and grateful of that. We've received many compliments on our table and know we'll be able to enjoy it for years and years to come (this is one solid table!). We would wholeheartedly recommend Dave and Hanna Carpentry. (our table is 82\ x 38\, with extensions, douglas fir, distressed)
David built a custom 9’ table for our new home. He was amazing throughout the whole process, sending photos and updates, customizing table top and colours for us. Couldn’t be happier with his work! Professional and great quality, definitely would recommend, this piece will live with us forever!
I met Dave a few days ago at his shop. You couldn't ask for more of a gentleman. I mean, he is a very gentle man. Dave is very pleasant and so focused on customer satisfaction. I personally don't know about his skill in carpentry, but he did share some of his employment background and I learned that he left a Bay Street job to start his company... because woodworking is his passion. What could be better than to work every day with something you love. It shows. I think he's one of the nicest persons I have ever encountered in any business. We were very pleased with the constant communication and quick response time when working with David. He involved us in ever step of the process making sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. He personally delivered, assembled and gave us tips on how to care for our new harvest table and bench. Highly recommend Hanna Carpentry for the next piece of solid wood furniture in your home.
