The service here is really good and the restaurant looks really nice inside. Our waiter was very nice. The food however is expensive compared to other Chinese restaurants that I've been to. A half roasted duck is 24 if I can remember correctly. I've been to restaurants where you can get a whole duck for a few dollars more. The duck was also pretty dry and not the best I've had. We also ordered king prawns in Thai sauce which was delicious but a small portion for the price. Overall it's a good restaurant if you're willing to pay that much money for Chinese food that you can get at other places places cheaper. I'm not sure if I would come back. If I do I wouldn't order the duck again.

My family and I always enjoy going to Cynthia's. The staff is top notch and the food is even better! Always a great experience. We've never had a dish that we didn't enjoy
Generous portion sizes, good value for money, and lots and lots of great menu choices. Must haves include the mango spring rolls (as an app or even as a dessert, they are that nicely sweet), and the orange chicken (it is just chicken in a light orange sauce and amazing value). One are to improve is that the food could have been spicier -- even the food on the menu that claimed to be \extra spicy\, was not spicy. Would definitely return.
AMAZING all round experience! The food was absolutely succulent. The staff was beyond friendly and receiving! We were impressed by the numerus gluten-free options on their menu and their attention to detail. Very caring and attentive to our allergies! Definitely have our vote and will return! 10 thumbs up.
This is my first time trying Cynthia's Chinese restaurant. As a typical Chinese person, I really don't have high hopes on this restaurant. First impression is walking in to the dining room, nice ancient Chinese design, and all the waiters and waitress are in ancient Chinese clothing as well. This must be one of the selling point for this restaurant. Service is quick and attentive. We order the peking duck, 2 fish maw soup, snow pea leaves with dry scallop and sweet and sour fresh whole fish debone. I must mention the fish, it is fresh and need to place order ahead of time (probably 3 hours ahead) in order for them to prepare. It is amazing and it is a typical northern part of China signature dish. The snow pea leaves with dry scallop is another surprise dish. A lot of dry scallop, it is not like most restaurant that they only put some sauce on top of the vegetable to pretend they have the dry scallop on top of the veggies. The peking duck skin is crispy and the meat is juicy, on par with \The One Fusion Cuisine\ in Richmond Hill. The only drawback is the price of the duck, 69 is a bit expensive when compared to most Chinese restaurant in Markham, Mississauga, Richmond Hill and Scarborough. 50 is a more reasonable price to me on peking duck. Finally, we ended up with deep fry cream brulee for the dessert. Wonderful and keep up the good work!
