I love this clinic. Dr. Akter is awesome. She actually cares for her patients and takes care of them. I followed her from her previous practice. I can’t recommend other doctors here as I have not seen them. The reception staff kind and professional. I couldn’t ask for any better. The building itself is new. Very clean and well laid out. The pharmacy is on point with very helpful staff and well stocked for essentials. Parking on street in front of the building as well as behind the building. Accessible to everyone. No steps to enter the clinic or pharmacy. Almost every day there are walk in clinics available and they are open some evenings.

This clinic’s a bit of a joke, and I’ve been here for 5 appointments so I gave them plenty of chances to get their act together. 4 of the 5 appointments I was there 15 minutes early and they took over 45 minutes to put me in the room, then about another 20 minutes of waiting once inside. I had to wait over an hour every time without counting the 15 minutes early I was there each time. I ran late today for the first time and was about 13 minutes late. What do they do? Threaten to cancel my appointment and charge me a fee for not showing up. Beautiful. P.S. the blonde at the front with the accent needs to find a job where she doesn’t interact with people, she’s quite clearly not suited for it.

Reception staff were all lovely. My initial meeting with Dr. Akter was great - she seems like a very warm and caring doctor, and I'm looking forward to being her patient. She did let me know that she takes her time with each patient, which means she is often running late. I'm fine with this - I'd rather wait an hour to see a doctor that is going to listen to all of my concerns and be thorough, than see a doctor on time who is going to rush me and only allow me to bring up one issue per visit. First experience was 10/10!

Today my mother had an appointment with an Specialist who is there ONLY on Monday. It was not her regular family doctor. So I took a DAY OFF to bring her to her appointment. We went there just on time. and they checked her documents, took her height, weight, and then asked her to wait in the doctors room. That all took about 15 minute. Then we sat there for another 15 minute, and the staff came in and said, the Doctor cannot see her as she was 10 minute late and she had to reschedule. This is just a shocking surprise, as actually we were not late and were there just on time. The Staff told me that she understands this but this doctor is just like that , nothing she can do. Then we were taken to the front . They completely changed what she said in the office just a minute ago. There were another lady who was not involved in this, joined as well. They kept saying that we were 10 minute late and this specialist does not see if someone is 10 minute late (WHICH WAS NOT TRUE). I told them, in reality we came here every time before and every time we had to wait for an hour and we never said anything. And today they denied to see my mom, blaming that we were 10 minute late , which WE WERE NOT. I pray this arrogant Specialist learns a lesson in his life and values other peoples time as well. It was just such a disappointment taking a day off and all time wasted.

What an utter waste of time and taxpayer money. I can’t believe the doctor gets to bill AHC for this farce. He didn’t even look at the problem, or make any attempt to diagnose. Just said “it’s nothing”, and waved off further questions. Maybe it isn’t anything to worry about, but clearly it is something. I can see it. I can feel it. It exists. Now I have to make another appointment with another doctor for the same medical issue, which gets billed to health care again. Don’t go to this clinic. You’ll get better medical care from whatever rando is hanging around at the bus stop out front.
