12-20 minute waits on the phone, no option to leave messages. Receptionists undertrained and understaffed. Lost my urine sample then blamed it on me "not using sterile container", I used what they gave me. Those that work on the weekends can't book for the week and tell you to call back monday. I called about walk in and they didn't tell me to register first, just that walk-in opens at 4pm. Showed up and had to go wait in my car, imagine if i had bussed and had to stay outside or gone home because of lack of info? Don't go here

Being told to call in at 4 for virtual walk in on hold for over half hour someone picks up and hangs up. Called back again and doing the whole waiting game again. Been waiting years for an mri as well as suggested..”lost paper work” I’ve asked to be called back to never be called back. No choice to come here as I’ve been waiting for a family dr.

Terrible service, extremely lengthy wait times and subpar quality.

Went to see the Dr early last week (turned out to be a nurse practitioner). I was told that walk in started at 4 so I made sure to arrive no later than 3:30. I'm glad I did! Although I was the first one there, within minutes another 17 or so people filed in. Staff were both very friendly and courteous. Sadly I did witness a few individuals arriving at 4pm flipping out at reception as if it was their fault there were others waiting. Those poor ladies take a lot of nonsense abuse. Apparently alot of people do not understand that its first come first serve. Absolutely shocked at the entitlement of the youth (and some adults) who think they can arrive at 4 and not have to wait their turn. My only advise to the clinic would be to have people pick a number when they walk in like in some butcher shops, or banks. This way you are called in the order you arrived...no mess..no hassles... and ultimately no arguments.

No one is answering the phones! I've been on hold collectively for an hour and a bit. I called earlier this week and I couldn't book an appointment because they're updating their system. Now as I try, no one answers. My doctor's great though!

NorWest houses the best opiate and other drug recovery program in Thunder Bay (RAAM CLINIC). The staff are all very polite and respectful. I won't go anywhere else for any of my medical needs.

ZERO STARS! I am absolutely appalled by the level of disrespect from NP Colleen Morrow at NorWest Community health. Never in my life have I been threatened with not getting treatment because I was supposedly “rude” to the staff. I had been waiting in the general waiting room for about an hour, which isn’t too bad for a walk in clinic. However, when you are taken into the personal/private waiting room, I didn’t expect to have to wait there for another hour. After 55 minutes of sitting in a room by myself, I poked my head out to ensure I had not been forgotten about. When I asked whether I was going to be seen shortly I was chastised by NP Morrow to “leave if I can’t be bothered to wait.” Not only did she coincidentally show up moments later to treat me, but she also proceeded to ignore what I had to say, walked out of the room while I was in mid-sentence, and then failed to give me an additional refill on my prescription as requested. She then thrust the prescription paper in my direction and proceeded to tell me “Next time you’re rude to the staff, I will refuse to treat you,” and then walked out before I was able to request a refill on the prescription or ask any questions. I cannot believe the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism demonstrated by a member of NorWest medical staff. Shame on you, I strongly hope that one of the higher ranking staff members will take a look into this and ensure no other patient is ever treated in such an inconsiderate and horrendous manner. I certainly will NEVER go back.

Have been a patient for 25yrs. Since new renovations there is way too much unused space as well needs to become more visibly welcoming. Pictures and or comics in ceilings Expecialy when you're laying down on the examination bed.
