Great place to get your eyes checked. Friendly doctors, staff and up to date tech for your eye health. Lots of great eye wear frame brands to choose from and some lenses can be made right here in town. They have a great selection of sunglasses that can be made into prescription sunglasses also.

The actual business of optometry seems to be lost here. I was looking for my reading prescription but got off the shelf magnifiers almost identical to 4 drug store glasses. I spoke to Northern Lights about this but was sold a load of BS. I spoke to many other optometrists about getting my actual prescription and not magnifiers and should have been able to get that no problem.

My girlfriend and I are staying in the YT on a work assignment and were both in need of new glasses. The selection of frames was impressive, and the variety of lenses was "eye opening". The team at Northern Lights Optometry was incredibly helpful and patient with us. Danielle was especially personable and understanding. Thank you for making what's usually a stressful and difficult experience, fun and easy!

Great, fast service. Friendly staff. Got my glasses sooner than expected. Needed to see Dr. Gorrell again for the some further explanation re my glasses and it was explained to me very well and no charge for that. Will be back in 2 years :)

Doctor was great. But i would have not booked an exam knowing they do not give all the proper information of their patients perscription... they will not give you your PD because they know you can go elsewhere for glasses. PD is always part of a normal perscription. So because of this I will never be back. I drove over to superstore and recieved my pd...
